Description
You can avail our Powered Drum trippers in two main varieties: Pneumatic version and an Electric version.
The electric ones are ideal for safe areas and this fully powered drum tipper comes with a 24v onboard battery bank and a powerful drive motor.
The pneumatic version is suitable to areas that are categorized to be hazardous. They are certified to use ATEX environments as well. Usually, the operator connects an airline to power pneumatic – hydraulic functions, which powers the lift rotation and drive of the machine.
- Fully Powered Operations: Power drive, electric-hydraulic lift, hydraulic clamp, and powered rotation (180° inversion).
- Safe Working Load (SWL): 300kg capacity.
- Clamping System: A hydraulic constant-tension clamping head with rubber pads grips the outside of the drum, with a pressure gauge to ensure secure holding. This allows for ‘hands-off’ operation.
- ATEX Certification (STP05-RRH01-Ex): The pneumatic model is ATEX/UKEX certified for zones 1, 2, 21, and 22 (hazardous areas).
- Versatility: Handles drums 50-220 litres, including plastic (L-ring) and steel drums.
- Lift Height & Control: Standard lift height of 1500mm, with steerable tiller control and an anti-trap safety switch.
- Construction: Available in mild steel (powder-coated) or 304-grade stainless steel for hygienic, chemical, or food-grade applications
- Chemical Manufacturing: Pouring chemicals or powders in hazardous, explosive (ATEX) zones.
- Food & Pharmaceutical Processing: The stainless steel (SS) variants are ideal for hygienic environments needing regular washdown.
- Pallet Loading: Ability to lift drums directly from the corner of a pallet.
- Mixing & Dispensing: Full 180-degree rotation allows for total inversion of drums, emptying viscous liquids or powders into vessels or containers.
